Global Warming effecting Maple Production?

According to the City of Brainerd and observations from council members, maple syrup production has been detrimentally affected by global warming. So I decided to try my hand at it. So far I am overwhelmed with production, and this production has detrimentally affected by normal routine. Needless to say that myth is BUSTED!

Oh yea. Nice snow in April. The City of Brainerd also sited lack of snow for recreation through observations by council members due to the rise of CO2 in the air. Needless to say that myth is BUSTED!

The admission from the USDA about their plan to buy up all the sugar is admittedly in order to stop it's availability to the public!

Classic war against your enemy is to cut off their supply. So is this an act of War by the U.S. against it's own people? Are they using tax payer's money to deny tax payer's freedoms? Seems the USDA confirms this. Where else are they now?

Is this war?  I hope not.... but we're looking into it.

 


Man-Made Global Warming is Brainerd's official position.

As perceived by a letter to be signed by Brainerd Mayor James Wallin and approved by the council on a 5 to 1 vote. [read letter here]. The claims made by the city of Brainerd is that carbon dioxide (CO2), the air we breathe out, is a pollutant. That this pollutant has been extremely detrimental to the City of Brainerd and the surrounding population, I'm sure to include all of Central Minnesota. Mayor Wallin sites "record floods", "droughts", "dying oak trees", "no maple syrup harvest", "excessive greening of our lakes", "lack of snow for recreation" and "ice storms" as all positive proofs from too much carbon dioxide (the air plants breathe in and "exhales" water vapor and oxygen out.) But that's not all! The City of Brainerd also says that our forests will disappear at the end of this century to be replaced by prairie. Fish will pack up and move, birds will up and fly away never to return all to escape the extreme heat.
 
What a bold position for a City to take in one night. There was no study completed, no committee conveyed, no public discourse, nothing.

Why Justice is Blind

In regard to Brainerd City Council’s decision not to hold a hearing it seems necessary to remind ourselves that justice is to be handed out regardless of who an individual is. It doesn’t take the personalities into account only the charge weighed with evidence. A poor man, a rich man, a jerk or a priest are to receive equal justice under the law. Just as gravity makes no determination between heavy and light and pulls all objects at equal force, so we should make no determination between people on their qualities or position but on the principle itself. It isn't in the interest of the Minnesota Freedom Council to get into the day to day activities of City to Citizen governing as we focus more into the conduct of government; will they do what they are supposed to do, and how do they view the people- are they the objective or the obstacle. This incident with Guy Green is of interest to us, not only because Guy helped found this organization but that the means of which an elected official went about to counter the debate by usurping an individual's natural God given rights rang so loud to do nothing would be evil. Guy Green's actions are perfect within the scope of how we are to act as a free society as he stated at the meeting. But with the rejection of due process what is the alternative to react to a flagrant act of tyranny? Does the Mayor of Brainerd really understand that in just those little words he initially confirmed Guy Green's whole point of view of this local governing body?

I listened intently to everything I could about this whole affair, and I'm not sure where I stand on the issue of sidewalks. I don't live in any city, I'm a rural man, I like the farm life. But the debate wasn't about the luxury of city living versus private property, but turned a very suspicious corner on a logical fallacy: "We must leave the ideology of 'me' for 'we'."

Happy Thanksgiving

It is the season to give thanks, starting with those Ultra-rightwing Christian (Puritan) Conservatives (the Pilgrims) for their part in securing a land for the free, and a home for the brave, whose actions did not bring discord or division among Americans (natives,) but unity. A shining city on the hill so to speak.

Is the Mayflower getting ready to sail again? Talks of exodus quietly turns to actions... Is it in search for Christian liberty, or a case of Noah's ark?
